Through No Longer Silent, Nunez amplifies the voices of those affected by domestic violence, offering education, encouragement, and empowerment.
Beyond her work as a coach and podcaster, Nunez is a respected member of the Inner City Council in Paterson, where she has been recognized for her contributions to the community and her Puerto Rican heritage. Nunez’s platform primarily focuses on individuals under the age of 25, a demographic she believes is critical to reach early. “(I want domestic violence survivors) to know that you can rebuild your life again,” she emphasizes. Her work is underscored by sobering statistics: according to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 10 million people in the U.S. experience domestic violence annually, with one in four women and one in nine men enduring severe abuse. These figures drive Nunez’s relentless pursuit of awareness and change.
