Stepping into the classroom as a Special Education Teacher, Dr. Aleman quickly distinguished himself as a fierce protector of student rights and potential. His dedication and vision propelled him into leadership roles, first as Director of Special Education and later as a principal and assistant principal. Each step of his career was marked by a relentless focus on improving student outcomes, fostering equity, and building strong, supportive communities.

As a principal, he guided campus-wide academic and behavioral systems, implemented Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks, and fostered strong family partnerships that improved both school climate and student outcomes. Now, as an assistant principal, he continues to lead instructional improvement through data-driven decision-making, coaching teachers, and aligning curriculum and assessment practices—all while maintaining a strong emphasis on equity and student well-being.

These skills seamlessly translated into his work in education, where he continues to lead with transparency, accountability, and purpose.

He earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership with a concentration in School Superintendency from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, equipping him with the knowledge and skills to lead at the highest levels of education. His involvement with organizations such as the IDEA Center – Leaders in the Field, ASCD, NAESP, and TASA keeps him at the forefront of educational best practices, ensuring that his schools and districts benefit from the most effective strategies.

As a principal at Ben Franklin School in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Aleman led a K–8 campus of 850 students, supervising staff and driving instructional and operational systems. He established and monitored campus-wide academic and behavioral goals aligned to district priorities, implemented PBIS and incentive systems that improved attendance and school climate, and strengthened family and community partnerships to support student achievement. These experiences solidified his belief that student success is directly connected to strong instruction, effective systems, and meaningful relationships.

Today, as Assistant Principal at Flour Bluff Elementary School in Corpus Christi, Texas, Dr. Aleman continues to create an environment where everyone feels valued.
